Amidst the silent whispers of the trees,
Where once they danced with grace in sunlit streams,
Now echoes linger, carried by the breeze,
Of verdant dreams that lay in fractured seams.
Once, vibrant canopies adorned the sky,
With leaves that shimmered like the starts above,
Now barren branches stretch, as if to cry,
For life extinguished, lost like fleeting love.
Beneath the roots, a legacy now sleeps,
Yet in our hands, destruction’s burden creeps,
Leaving behind a sorrow, grave and tense.
O, haunted whispers of the past, I mourn,
A world once rich, now left to weep and yearn,
In every shadow, echoes of the torn,
I carry forth the lesson, wounds to learn.
Together, we shall rebuild, heal the land,
Revive the spirit that once freely soared,
For though the forest’s heart was crushed by hand,
In nature’s arms, hope’s promise is restored.
